Scoliosis Management

Scoliosis is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is your treatment. At fraser physio, we focus on what is limiting you: pain patterns, stiffness, breathing and rib mobility, strength imbalances, and how you move through work and daily tasks.

Your plan is designed to be doable, with clear priorities and progressions so you are not guessing what matters most.

Why Choose Fraser Physiotherapy

  • Personalized plans, not generic exercises. Your care is based on how scoliosis is affecting your movement, strength, and daily life right now.
  • Comprehensive care under one roof. Combine physiotherapy with massage therapy and acupuncture when it makes sense for your symptoms and comfort.
  • Clear communication at every step. You will understand what is going on, what we are working on, and what to do at home between visits.
  • Same-day appointment availability. Get started as early as today so you are not stuck waiting while pain and stiffness build.
  • Flexible scheduling for busy lives. We offer appointment times that help you fit treatment around work, school, parenting, and commuting.
  • Accessible care for more people. We accept IFHP clients and aim to make the next step straightforward and stress-free.

Who Benefits from
Scoliosis Management

Scoliosis management can help if you want less pain and better control of your body day to day, even if your curve has been there for years.

  • Adults with scoliosis-related back or neck pain that flares with sitting, standing, or walking
  • People who feel uneven tightness through the ribs, hips, or shoulders and want better mobility
  • Anyone noticing muscle fatigue, frequent stiffness, or reduced tolerance for work and chores
  • Patients who have tried rest or general stretching but still feel limited
  • People returning to exercise who want a plan that respects their spine and builds strength safely
  • Those managing flare-ups from long hours at a desk, driving, or physically demanding work
  • Individuals who want supportive care alongside other medical guidance
  • IFHP clients looking for a clinic that can accommodate coverage requirements

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your first visit starts with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, what makes them better or worse, and what you want to get back to. We will assess posture, movement, strength, and how your spine and surrounding joints are working together. From there, we create a practical plan that may include targeted exercise therapy, mobility work, hands-on treatment, and guidance on pacing, posture strategies, and activity modification.

Follow-up appointments build on progress and adjust your plan as your body responds. Bring any relevant imaging reports or referral notes if you have them, but you can still start without them. You will leave with clear next steps, including home exercises you can realistically do.
